Salina middle school teacher enters plea involving alcohol and THC products furnished to minors

The Salina South Middle School teacher who was accused of furnishing alcohol and THC products to underage students has pleaded guilty.

According to court records, Amanda Freeman (48) has pleaded guilty to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a felony, and furnishing alcoholic beverages to underage students, a misdemeanor.

The Salina Police Department stated that a parent of a 16-year-old boy reported suspicious text messaging between the teen and Freeman back in September 2025.

The sentencing date for Freeman is scheduled for October 6.
