Eagle Radio Salina turned into a blood collection center Thursday as staff, their family members, and friends donated blood to the American Red Cross.

The blood drive was a continuation of Eagle Radio's efforts in 2020 to help the American Red Cross.

"The Central and Western Kansas Chapter of the American Red Cross is forever grateful for the amazing support from the Salina community for our blood drives. Now more than ever, we have additional needs to address COVID-19. Just one blood donation can help up to three lives," said Sherry Dryden, executive director of the American Red Cross serving central and western Kansas. "Businesses like Eagle Radio are instrumental in providing those opportunities to ensure blood donation needs are met."
