MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today reported seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The cases, identified over the weekend, bring the county total to 175.
Following is the new case information as provided by the health department.
Cases identified on Saturday
Positive case No. 169 is a symptomatic male in his 30s with travel exposure and is recovering at home (family of case 170 and 171).
Positive case No. 170 is a symptomatic female in her 30s with travel exposure and is recovering at home (family of case 169 and 171).
Positive case No. 171 is a symptomatic female 3 year old with travel exposure and is recovering at home (family of case 169 and 170).
Positive case No. 172 is a symptomatic male in his 70s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home (family of case 173).
Positive case No. 173 is a symptomatic female in her 70s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home (family of case 172).
Cases identified Sunday
Positive case No. 174 is a symptomatic male in his 60s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 175 is an asymptomatic female 18 year old with unknown exposure and is isolating at home.
Of the 175 confirmed cases, 156 have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines, the health department noted. Currently none of the active cases is hospitalized, the health department added.
