Saline County Commissioners to canvass votes Tuesday

A canvass of Saline County general election votes is among the items on the Saline County Commission agenda for Tuesday.

About the meeting

Saline County Commission is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash Street. The meetings also can be viewed on Saline County’s YouTube channel:

Agenda items

Toward the beginning of the meeting, commissioners are scheduled to canvass the Saline County votes from the Nov. 8 general election. They are then scheduled to certify the election results at 9 a.m. Thursday in room 107B of the City-County Building.

Other items on the Saline County Commission agenda include the following.

●Consider approval of an Ashby House Capital Improvement Grant agreement.

●Consider the HCC Stop Loss Health Insurance Renewal

●Consider approval of a grant agreement with K-State Salina for workforce development

●Consider FY23 Justice Assistance Grant assurances

●Consider a bid award for 2022 aggregate shouldering

●Consider approving a resolution to vacate a portion of Chestnut Street in Bridgeport

●Hear the human resources quarterly update

●Hear the 2022 annual treasurer's report

●Hear the livestock and expo third quarter update

●Hear County Administrator Phillip Smith-Hanes's update

Commissioners also are scheduled to participate in a concept discussion of the WSU study non-salary recommendations.
