"Spring Break Create" explores the creative idea of "things that fly" and is inspired by the wind and the skies! Projects focus on acrylic painting, printmaking, and collage with the subject matter of birds, insects, aircraft, kites, and even time. Students learn and develop basic techniques while exploring different mediums. Grades K-2 is in the morning from 9-11 a.m. Grades 3-5 are in the afternoon from 1-3 p.m. The class fee is $50; scholarships are available.
"Spring Break Art Camp: Figure Drawing" teaches students to understand form and how to draw portraits and people. This week-long course introduces students to the human form's foundational study, drawing from mannequins and a life-sized skeleton! Projects include sculpting faces and figures in clay before drawing in pen. SBAC: Figure Drawing is for grades 6-12 and is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Pack a sack lunch. The class fee is $75; scholarships are available.
