A field tractor was engulfed in flames and its loss of value was well over $5,000.

According to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan, a 1974 case tractor was being used by 70-year old Jarold Ross on Friday, May 16th. When he was done, he parked the tractor in a field in North Salina.

 The next day on Saturday around 2:15 pm, the tractor caught on fire.&nbsp; Deputies received report about the fire and the Salina Fire Department extinguished it.&nbsp;

The cause of fire was unknown and loss of the tractor was valued at $10,000.
