SALINE COUNTY—Four people were injured after separate accidents just before 10a.m. Saturday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway reported a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by John Eric Hawk, 56, Lindsborg, was northbound on Interstate 135 just south of Sundgren Road.
The vehicle traveled over an icy patch and the driver lost control. The Toyota traveled through the median into the southbound lane of traffic, and spun.
A 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by Alexia Yerton, 21, Manhattan, impacted the driver side door of the Toyota.
After the crash, a 2005 GMC C25 driven by Stefan Luciano Hemenway, 22, Concordia, struck the Toyota as it sat in both lanes of traffic.
EMS transported Hawk and passengers in the GMC identified as Brittany Nicole Farfard, 19, Miltonvale and Ruth Ragle, 68, Cloud County, to Salina Regional Medical Center and Yerton to a Wichita hospital. Hemenway was not injured.
Ragle was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
