The City of Salina has closed part of S. 10th Street until further notice.
In a news release issued this afternoon, the city announced that S. 10th Street on the north side of the intersection with W. Republic Avenue was closed so that Public Works Department employees could replace sections of pavement across S. 10th Street that were damaged by a utility main break.
"West Republic Avenue will remain open, however, motorists should proceed with caution while traveling past an active work zone," the city noted.
