CONCORDIA - A Salina man was arrested in Concordia after he allegedly stole a pickup from the Salina Regional Health Center parking garage early this morning.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that sometime between midnight and 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, a white 1995 Ford F250 pickup belonging to Salina Regional Health Center, 400 S. Santa Fe Avenue, was stolen from the hospital parking garage. The pickup was valued at $2,000.
Salina Regional was contacted by the Concordia Police Department early this morning concerning the pickup. Forrester said that Concordia Police had stopped the pickup and arrested the driver, Ricky Hall, 58, of Salina, for allegedly being under the influence of alcohol.
It was determined that Hall had been at Salina Regional earlier in the night, but had decided that he no longer wanted to be there, so he allegedly stole the pickup from the parking garage and left, Forrester said.
Requested charges have yet to be filed against Hall as Concordia and Salina police are discussing who will file what requested charges, Forrester said.
