A Salina man wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested early Friday morning during a traffic stop in north Salina.
At approximately 1:25 a.m. Friday, an officer stopped a Ford Ranger pickup in the 500 block of W. Harsh Avenue for having an illegal license plate, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning. The license plate was registered to a Dodge Ram 2500.

The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Brandon St. Clair, 39, of Salina, who had an active felony warrant out of Saline County District Court for bond supervision violation.
According to Forrester, St. Clair allegedly refused to exit the pickup, and locked the doors. Officers broke out the passenger-side window of the pickup and were able to take St. Clair into custody.
St. Clair allegedly was found to be in possession of what was thought to be methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
In addition to the active warrant, St. Clair was arrested on the following requested charges, according to Forrester.
●Felony interference with law enforcement
●Possession of a stimulant
●Possession of marijuana
●Possession of drug paraphernalia
