The Granny Brigade will be hosting their monthly meeting next week, which will feature U.S. House Representatives speaking about past legislative updates and helpful tax information given for the community.
On Tuesday, May 20th the Granny Brigade will host their monthly meeting at 7:00 pm inside the Carver Center on 315 N. 2nd St. House Representatives, Clarke Sanders Steven Howe, Scott Hill, Pat Proctor and Kansas Senator Caryn Tyson will be the speakers at the meeting.
All speakers will be reviewing over past legislative updates and Senator Tyson will go over tax information during the meeting.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
The Granny Brigade is an organization that has over 2,000 members all over the U.S. with 900 of them in Salina. They are devoted to supporting police officers and sending donations around the country to those in need. They have also donated to cancer patients, hurricane funds for Hawaii and the Carolinas and much more.
