A Salina-based baseball and softball facility will be holding a back-to-school event on Friday.

The Yard will be hosting "Back 2 School Blockbuster" through its charitable organization, <a href="https://www.theyardcharities.com/?fbclid=IwY2xjawTh0xNwZG9mAWV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAGJyaWQRMXFuSDFpWXNQRTFnbklVU3BzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEedTu1cS4z6IdCvOX4tBdgG84a1c2XOXyqwd7VQx9ovcpdL-S0z-cjL8zDfOY_aem__O9o_jl93yOQ5AxkofrpVg">The Yard Charities</a>&nbsp;on Friday, August 7, from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm at the facility (138 S. 4th Street).

Attendees will get to enjoy free ice cream, carnival games, $5 HitTrax home run derby inside the facility and an outdoor showing of "Rookie of the Year."

This event is open to all families in the community.
