The City of Salina has announced that work on Broadway Boulevard is progressing toward the repaving phase.
On Wednesday, APAC expects to begin repaving Broadway Boulevard from W. Crawford Street to W. Ash Street, according to information from the city.
The work on Broadway Boulevard consists of milling the existing asphalt street surface 1.5 inches and replacing it with new asphalt to rehabilitate and preserve the pavement section. Permanent pavement markings will be placed shortly after the resurfacing.
The work will be completed with lane closures, and adjacent occupants will be given sufficient notice and accommodations. Motorists should expect modest delays and are encouraged to avoid the work zones altogether if possible.
