UPDATE 10:40 a.m. Monday: The Saline County Road and Bridge Department announced this morning that the railroad crossing work just west of Solomon has been rescheduled for Tuesday by the Kyle Railroad. Work is anticipated to be completed during daylight hours on Tuesday.

The Saline County Road and Bridge Department has announced that part of Old Highway 40 and N. Amos Road will be closed Monday for railroad crossing work.
Those roads, just west of Solomon, will be closed Monday by the Kyle Railroad so the company can work on the railroad crossing at the intersection. The work is tentatively anticipated to be completed during the daytime hours Monday.
Local traffic is asked to find alternate routes during construction.
