NEW CAMBRIA - A minor earthquake shook part of eastern Salina County this afternoon.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck east-southeast of New Cambria at 4:45 p.m. Monday. The quake was centered just west-northwest of the N. Donmyer Road/Poheta Road intersection.
