Duane C.E. Belzer, 62, of Salina, Kansas passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Village Manor in Abilene, Kansas.

He was born on January 17, 1963 at Schilling, A.F.B. in Salina, Kansas, the son of LaVern and Marjorie Belzer. The Belzer family lived in Abilene where Duane graduated from Abilene High School.

In 2018 Duane accepted Jesus Christ into his life and became a Christian. Duane was kind, quiet, and enjoyed helping others. He rode his bike daily and lived a very simple life.

Duane C.E. Belzer was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Linda Koland and LaVonda Hurlbut.

Survivors include son Dalton Belzer and spouse Kelsey of Plainville, Kansas; sisters Wanda Martin and spouse Tom of Iowa City, Iowa; Amy Belzer and spouse Louise of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren Wyatt Thomas, Charlie Alaine, and Palmer Grace. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Duane’s family would like to thank Abilene Village Manor staff and the Home Health and Hospice of Dickinson County staff while caring for Duane.

Memorials may be sent to Village Manor or Home Health and Hospice of Dickinson County.

Inurnment will take place next to his parents at the Abilene Cemetery in the future.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus in Wichita, Kansas.
