Mark your calendars! The Saline County Health Department has scheduled its annual Community Flu Shot Clinic for Oct. 13.
The drive-through clinic is scheduled for 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct.13 at the 4-H Building in Kenwood Park and is for persons ages 19 and older. Those participating are asked to wear short sleeves and face masks.
Vehicles should enter from the south near the Kenwood Cove entrance, according to information from the health department.
The health department noted that persons with the following health plans who bring their insurance cards, may be covered for flu shots.
●Blue Cross/Blue Shield
●Aetna
●Medicare Part B or Medicare Advantage Plan C
●KanCare/Medicaid (Sunflower State Health Plan, Aetna Better Health of Kansas, United Health Care Community Plan)
●UMR for Saline County employees only
According to the health department shots also will be available for persons with out of network/no health insurance and will be payable at the time of service.
