JEWELL COUNTY -- A minor earthquake shook part of Jewell County early Sunday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the 2.3 magnitude quake struck west-southwest of Mankato at 12:39 p.m. Sunday. The quake was just north of M Road and just east of 80 Road.
