Driver hospitalized in Salina after I-70 semi crash

SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 1a.m. Saturday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway patrol reported a 2016 International semi driven by Randy Slife, 61, of Denver, was eastbound on Interstate 70 two miles west of Solomon Road.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It traveled across the westbound lanes, off the north side of of the interstate, struck a KDOT fence and came to rest in the field.

EMS transported Slife to Salina Regional Health Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
