At approximately 9 p.m. on Sept. 6, Salina Police Department (SPD) officers were dispatched to the Chapel Ridge Apartments, 2363 Chapel Ridge Place, in response to a domestic disturbance. 

"Contact was made with a Yesenia Buenrostro, she's a 21-year-old female of Salina. She reported that she got into an argument with the 22-year-old male who also lives in the apartment," said SPD Cpt. James Feldman. "It was determined from both parties that during this argument, Buenrostro pulled a knife and threatened the 22-year-old male."

&nbsp;Feldman said the argument began after Buenrostro allegedly discovered that she was missing an item, and said the 22-year-old victim was responsible. It was later determined that the knife used to threaten the victim was a pocketknife.&nbsp;

Buenrostro was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of aggravated assault.
