Becky Vering-Younger, 71, died on November 23, 2025, at her home. Becky was the devoted wife to her late husband and love of her life, Jesse Younger. She was a warm and wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews and an unwavering friend to many.
Born July 9, 1954, in Salina, she was the daughter of Bill and Polly Vering. Becky had four older siblings: Diana, Bill, Libby and Jack. She worked as a nurse and truck driver. Later, she and Jesse owned and operated LTR Engineering, specializing in Harley-Davidson repairs.
Becky led a life well lived. Her smile lit up every room. Without fail, she called those she loved on their birthdays—early in the morning—singing Happy Birthday with tenderness and joy. Always ready for a road trip, Becky loved meeting new people and trying new things. She experienced more in her life than most can imagine.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 7th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Scheme 123 N 7th St. Salina, KS.
