The Sacred Heart Knights struggled in their final game of the regular season, falling 48-0 to TMP-Marian in Hays.
Sacred Heart's run game produced little throughout the evening. Maddox Wells led the Knights with 47 yards rushing.
Wells completed 10 of his 21 passes for 120 yards. His leading receiver was Kolin Wilson with 60 yards.
Freshman standout Austin Liles led the Monarchs' offense, connecting with senior Jacob Seib for a 79-yard touchdown pass.
Jackson Gillespie also found the end zone twice for rushing touchdowns, along with Kayden Tiernan.
Hayden Pfannenstiel added to the Monarchs’ scoring attack with a pick six.
The Knights will look to rebound as they head into the 1A playoff bracket, ending the regular season 4-4. KSHSAA will be releasing all the football brackets later today.
