Commissioners are scheduled to consider adopting a resolution opposing including Saline County in a National Heritage Area. According to information from the county, the Kansas Nebraska Heritage Area Partnership is pursuing National Heritage Area designation for a 49-county area in Nebraska and Kansas, including Saline County.
