An Assaria woman was injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident late Saturday night on Kansas Highway 4 (K-4) near Assaria.

Brandi Hahn, 38, of Assaria, was southbound on K-4 in a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer when she dropped the wheels off of the west side of the road, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning. Hahn then overcorrected, causing the Trailblazer to roll several times on the east side of the roadway, coming to rest on the driver's side, Soldan explained.

The accident occurred just before midnight just north of the K-4 intersection with Salemsborg Road, he said.

Hahn was ejected from the vehicle and suffered a number of cuts and scrapes and complained of a head injury and neck pain, he said. She was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center, Soldan added.

A dog that was with her appeared to not be injured and was taken to the Salina Animal Shelter until Hahn was able to retrieve it, Soldan said.

The vehicle was totaled, he added.
