Norma Claire Carter, 91, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born September 5, 1929 in Concordia, KS.
She worked for Southwestern Bell as an office clerk/operator for 34 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Clyde and Delia Claire (Sewart) VanZandt; her beloved husband of 65 years, Clarence LeRoy Carter; twin brother, Norman VanZandt; and her sister, Joyce Potter.
Survivors include her daughter Jeri Steckman; sons, Mark (Shawna) Carter, Donn (Lynda) Carter; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
