Cornelia "Corry" van Buuren passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on October 20, 1934, in the Netherlands, she was the daughter of Arie Markus and Maria B. Benschop.

A homemaker, mother, and wife, Corry made her home in Abilene, Kansas, for nearly 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hendrik J. van Buuren. She is survived by her family and friends who will fondly remember her.
