The Salina Family YMCA is excited to announce the return of its swim lesson program beginning September 14th, offering opportunities for swimmers of all ages and ability levels to develop essential water skills in a safe, supportive environment.

The program is designed to help participants build confidence in the water while learning important swimming and water safety techniques. Instruction will be available for beginners who are just getting started, as well as intermediate and advanced swimmers looking to refine their skills and improve their technique.

"Learning to swim is one of the most valuable skills a person can have," said Elliott Read, Aquatics Director at the Salina Family YMCA. "Our goal is to provide high-quality instruction that helps participants become safer, stronger, and more confident in and around the water."

Swimming lessons offer numerous benefits beyond recreation, including improved increased confidence and enhanced water safety awareness. Participants will receive age-appropriate instruction from qualified instructors in a structured and encouraging setting.

Community members interested in enrolling are encouraged to register early, as class availability may be limited.
