Gary Lee Sutton, Culver, died Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born on the family farm near Bennington on September 14, 1938, to Wayne and Leota (Zuker) Sutton.
Gary graduated from Chapman High School in 1956. He and his family moved to Culver in 1958.
He married Elouise M. Miller on October 28, 1961. To this union, their daughter, Anita Lynn was born December 8, 1965. She resides in Lindsborg.
Gary worked for the Motor Service Company in Salina from 1961-1984. From 1984 until his retirement in August of 2008, he was the route salesman for Long McArthur Ford in Salina. He joined the Kansas Army National Guard in 1960 and after 23 years he retired after a jeep accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leland, Keith, and Ronnie; sister, Audrie; and sister-in-law, Bonnie.
Survivors are his wife, Elouise; daughter, Anita Sutton; brother, Dean; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Gary was cremated and a private burial will be in Culver Union Cemetery with Pastor DeMerle Eckart officiating. Memorials may be made to the Rolling Hills Zoo and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
