A wind advisory has been issued for several counties in our area.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind advisory in effect until 10 p.m. Friday for the following counties in our area.

North winds of around 30 mph with gusts of 40-45 mph are forecast.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.
