MANHATTAN, Kan. – With 10 honorees nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA, Kansas State fall student-athletes in the sports of men’s and women’s cross country, football, soccer and volleyball combined for 65 Academic All-Big 12 honors, as the conference office announced its fall accolades.
Those that were nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA include men’s cross country runner Devin Chappel; women’s cross country runners Cecilia Fisher and Alexa Rios; football player Will Anciaux; soccer players Adah Anderson, Ally Brown, Paige Dickson and Reece Walrod; as well as volleyball players Molly Ramsey and Symone Sims.
The full 2024 Fall Academic All-Big 12 Team featured 882 student-athletes. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 GPA or higher either cumulative or over the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20% of their team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
