Police are looking for the person who drove through freshly poured concrete at a city work site in southwest Salina Friday.
Officers were sent to the intersection of Jumper Road and Arnold Avenue at 2:55 p.m. Friday for the report of a light gray Ford pickup driving around barricades and through freshly poured concrete, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning. The pickup was last seen eastbound on Schilling Road, he added.
The City of Salina is having a reinforced box culvert replaced at that location.
The concrete had to be redone and the loss was estimated at $15,000, Forrester noted.
