The Salina City Commission will convene a special meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at 4 p.m. in Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash St., to discuss the appointment of an interim city manager following Mike Schrage's resignation.

The mayor will request staff confirmation that the Kansas Open Meeting Act required notice has been properly provided.
Roll call.
2. Pledge of allegiance and moment of silence
3. Executive session(3.1) Request for executive session – personnel
The city commission will recess into executive session for a specified time to discuss the appointment of an interim city manager. This session will focus on personnel matters of non-elected personnel, as authorized by K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(1). The open meeting will resume in Room 107 at the designated time.
