MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today reported five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 149.
Following is information from the health Department for the newest cases.
●Positive case No. 145 is a male in his 40s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
●Positive case No. 146 is a female in her 20s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
●Positive case No. 147 is a female in her 40s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
●Positive case No. 148 is a female under the age of 18 with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
●Positive case No. 149 is a male under the age of 18 with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
According to the health department, 132 of the 149 confirmed cases have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines. Currently, none of the active cases is hospitalized and the county has one COVID-19 related death, the health department reported.
