WICHITA, Kan. - Alli Mickelsen and Keira Hammen, both of Kansas Wesleyan University, have earned the KCAC Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from April 14-20 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Pitcher of the Week
Alli Mickelsen - Kansas Wesleyan University

Mickelsen had two outstanding pitching performances for the Coyotes last week. Against York, she struck out eight and scattered three hits in a run-rule win. On Friday, she was phenomenal in a complete game win over Evangel, scattering five hits and just one unearned run with six strikeouts as KWU won 2-1 over the Valor.
Player of the Week
Keira Hammen - Kansas Wesleyan University

It was a big week for Hammen and the Coyotes. She had three homers in the York doubleheader, helping KWU to the sweep. She also added two doubles in the win over Evangel. Her double in the third inning set up the first run of the game for the Coyotes.
