A $5,000 trailer was stolen from a business just south of Salina earlier this month.
Saline County Undersheriff Brent Melander said this morning that sometime between 5 p.m. June 4 and 8 a.m. Wednesday, someone stole an 18-foot 2007 flatbed tandem-axle trailer with a metal floor from Welborn Sales, 3288 Avenue C. The trailer had been parked next to the building.
The trailer had four welded anchor-point brackets and a slightly bent jack arm that connected the crank to the gear box. The trailer had a Kansas license plate of 776LCA.
