SALINA, KAN. - More than two thousand have already voted in Saline County for this general election cycle in 2026.
Tammy Arnold, Saline County election clerk, says with more than 2,000 having voted early so far, she expects strong numbers.
"Early numbers over 2,658 this morning (Monday) and a line most of the day," said Arnold on Monday. "Voting this time is a little busier, this time, than last time."
Arnold says with strong early voter turnout, you can easily vote at the Election office headquarters at 300 West Ash street from 8-5 now through Friday the 30th.
There will also be a special vote time on Halloween, Sept. 31st from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saline County election headquarters.
Early voting concludes Monday, November 2nd, from 8 a.m. to noon.
"Not all counties do this on a Saturday," said Arnold. "But this is something we wanted to offer here in Saline County."
On November third, election day, you will have to go to your precinct to vote.
"Seven a.m. to seven p.m. on the third," said Arnold. "We hope the numbers keep growing, especially with the younger generation so that's exciting."
If you do not know where your voting precinct is located, Arnold says you can call the office at 785-309-5820.
