Attention Republic County gardeners: Cover your plants tonight!
The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a freeze watch in effect from late Sunday night through Monday morning that includes Republic County.
Sub-freezing temperatures as low 30 degrees are possible.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
