Arnold E. "Arnie" Pilcherwas born June 17th, 1940 to Gaylord and Mildred (Bellows) Pilcher, in Peach Orchard, AR. Arnie passed away December 28th at his home in Bennington.
Arnie spent his life on the road, driving semis and then a bus for Continental Trailways. His greatest love was his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. His greatest heartbreak was losing his only son Randy, to ALS.
Arnie is survived by his two daughters Renee (Bob) Boss and RaShelle (Tim) Hensley; seven grandchildren, Alison (Mitch) Swagerty, Lacy Boss, Rob (Susan) Boss, Kylee (Austin) Fick, Zach, Zeb and Zane Hensley; nine great grandchildren Kinley and Hudson Swagerty, Gunnar and Matthew Boss, Audrey, Sawyer and Reagan Fick, Eli and Aiden Hensley, two sisters Gayle (Jim) Francis, Lorena Petzold, one sister in law Jan Pilcher; many cousins, nieces and nephews and lastly his former spouse and mother of his children Delores Pilcher and daughter in law Kris Pilcher Langdon.
The family will be gathering for a private celebration. Memorials can be made to the ALS Association in care of the family.
