“I did it my way” could best describe Chris’ life. He was born to Lucy (Buck) and Charles Carlson on August 22, 1956. He passed away at his home in rural Minneapolis just as he said he would. No nursing home and no hospital. He lived to be 69 years of age at great surprise to himself and others. He was a risk taker as every country boy was in the 1950’s - riding motorcycles, horses and cars – all at high speed. He married twice and gained his son, Will, from his marriage to Jill Siler.
He spent his lifetime farming and ranching. He also used his welding skills to fabricate some amazing inventions.
His parents and younger brother, Rob Carlson preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Will (Danica) Carlson, grandson Jagger; older brothers, Kent (Marcia) and Steve (Pam) Carlson; sister, Linda (Larry) Saenger. He also has numerous nieces and nephews to remember their own “Chris stories”.
He held a special place in his heart for his nephew Todd and his family who were his caregivers and best friends for the last several years when he was in poor health.
Chris also collected some amazing friends over the years that spent time with him playing and working. Tell his stories and remember him with a smile and laughter. He would love that!
At his request, no services will be held.
