SALINE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 10p.m. Wednesday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Freightliner semi driven by Jagjeevan Singh, 27, Flora Park, New York, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of Ohio Street. The vehicle crossed the left lane, traveled off the roadway, struck the south guard rail, left the roadway on the right side, struck the north guard rail, rolled onto its side and came to rest blocking westbound traffic on the interstate.
Singh was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Carlson Gesiendorf Funeral Home. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
