WICHITA — Ottawa University earned the top spot in the 2020 KCAC Competitive Dance Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference office announced Thursday.
Coaches voted leading up to and on the day of the 2020 KCAC Competitive Cheer and Dance Media Day, conducted virtually on Thursday, and was broadcast on the KCAC's Facebook page.
Ottawa accumulated 37 total points and two of six first-place votes. Avila University was not far behind with 34 total points and the remaining six first-place votes. York rounded out the top three, picking up 24 total points.
The 2020 KCAC Competitive Dance Championship is scheduled to take place Feb. 19 at Bethany College in Lindsborg.
