A minor earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County Friday morning.
According to the Kansas Geological Survey (KGS), a magnitude 2 earthquake struck northeast of Assaria at 8:27 a.m. Friday. The quake was centered just west of South Holmes Road between East Salemsborg Road and East Assaria Road, KGS noted.
