Billy Joe Davis, 63, Minneapolis, died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. He was born May 6, 1961, in Salina, to John B. “Jack” and Janice (Parsons) Davis.

Billy was a 1979 graduate of Minneapolis High School. He worked at Coronado Engineering, DesignPlast, and currently at C&amp;R Plating.

Billy and Barbara Kirby were united in marriage on April 10, 2002.

Survivors are his wife, Barb of the home; daughter, April Coetzee and her husband, Daniel of Mullen, NE; step-son, Jarret Jones and his wife, Brooke of Minneapolis; mother, Jan of Minneapolis; brother, Dale of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Drew Michaelson and wife Chloe of Delphos, Blaine Michaelson and wife Chloe of Beloit, D.J., and Bella of Mullen, NE, and Tayden Jones of Minneapolis; great-grandson, Hayes of Beloit; and his beloved dogs, Daisy, Honey, and Freckles.

Memorial services will be in the spring. Memorials may be made to Rock City or Markley Grove Park and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
