Ivalee Stella Kalb, age 85, of Salina, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021.
Ivalee, daughter of Arthur and Myrtle Olson, was born on December 1, 1935. She grew up in Smolan, Kansas. She graduated high school from Lindsborg High and spent many years working as a nurse's aide. She was a member and confirmed at the Salemsburg Lutheran Church.
In her younger years, Ivalee enjoyed spending her free time dancing. She also enjoyed fishing, working on puzzles, playing bingo and watching westerns. You could often find her cheering on her two favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ivalee enjoyed visiting with her many friends and family. She was also quite the animal lover. She has had several cats over the years and her dog, Oreo, held a very special place in her heart.
Ivalee is survived by her three daughters: Roberta (Jim McCollim) Miller, Doris Strickland and Vickie (Kevin) Bell; four grandchildren: Saul Miller, Robert (Amy) Miller, Arthur Strickland and Richard (Tiffany Miller) Strickland; and seven great-grandchildren: Sean, Victor, Dustin, Austin, Gracie, Aiden, Ellie, Alex and Liam, and a special friend, Angel Farris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Arthur Olson, and her daughter, Angelina Marie.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Salemsborg Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Holiday Resort of Salina and sent in care of Ryan Mortuary.
