Vehicle damaged in south Salina over the weekend

Police are investigating damge done to a vehicle in south Salina over the weekend.

Sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 9:10 a.m Saturday, someone shattered the driver's window and dented the door of a 2003 Honda Element that was parked in the 300 block of Raymond Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning.

It appeared as though the window and door were struck with a rock or brick, Forrester explained.

The window was valued at $700 and the damage to the door was $1,000, he noted.

Nothing was missing from the vehicle, Forrester added.
