A Glock was stolen from a north Salina residence on Monday.

Tiera Steen, 23, of Salina, told police that she was in the process of moving into a house in the 800 block of W. Elm Street, and was away from the residence between 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday.

When she returned to the residence at 1 p.m., she found the front door had been kicked in and her Glock Gen4 model 17 9/11 commemorative handgun had been stolen, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. The gun has a U.S. Flag on the slide. The gun was valued at $800.

Damage to the door was estimated at $200.
