Carol A. Vogan, 82, passed away January 22, 2022, in Salina, Kansas. Carol was a lifelong resident, born on September 6, 1939, to Elmer E. Milleson and Edith B. Ashton.
Carol was the oldest of eight children. Growing up her mission was to take care of her younger siblings.
Carol married Leland I. Vogan on July 4, 1955; to this union three children were born, Leland W., Darlene, and Edith.
Carol worked as a cook for various restaurants in Salina. She was also a babysitter for nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, son Leland W. Vogan, and daughter, Edith M. Vogan, brothers Glen and Ronald Milleson, sisters Joan Neal, Gloria Doerges (Robert), Debbie Ingram (Butch), grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer E. Milleson, and Edith B. Ashton, husband Leland I. Vogan, daughter Darlene Burkholder, brothers Donald, and Larry Milleson and grandson Chadd Vogan, Sr.
The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff at Holiday Resort Health & Rehab and the staff at SRHC.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
