Agnar “Ag” Sheldon Regier, 83, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Brookdale Senior Living, McPherson.
Ag worked as a maintenance technician at W-R Milling Company in McPherson for 41 years.
Ag was born on April 25, 1939, in McPherson, KS, the son of John James and Edna W. (Christensen) Regier.
He graduated from McPherson High School.
On February 13, 1960, Ag was united in marriage to Marlena Marie Clark in McPherson. This union was blessed with two sons, Randy and Jason.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Marlena; two sons, Randy (Jackie) Regier of McPherson, KS and Jason (Melissa) Regier of McPherson, KS; a sister, Merry Persinger of Derby, KS; seven grandchildren, Brittney (Brett) Jennings, John (Kristen) Regier, Tyler Regier, Shelby Regier, Camryn Regier, Alayna Colwell, and Owen Colwell; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Charles Regier, Johnny Keith Regier, John “Jack” Regier, Shirley Rose Smith, and Betty Demieville.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Emily Spearman Cannon officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in McPherson Cemetery.
