UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Wichita has again updated the area where they believe the most severe storms will hit.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop over western Kansas then spread eastward across central and northern parts of Kansas tonight. Greatest risk for severe weather is in orange shaded areas after 5 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday, the weather service noted.

The primary hazards will be large hail up to approximately two inches in diameter, and damaging winds up to approximately 70 mph. Additionally, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
