When Zach Will saw an ad for Anesthesia Associate's Gridiron Glory contest on Salina Post, he decided to approach the contest with the idea of having fun. Little did he know at the time that he would be the local 2020 season overall winner!

"One day I was on Salina Post and just saw an ad for it, thought it would be pretty fun to play," Will explained. "I didn’t really have a strategy. I really only watched the KC Chiefs games this year so I just went with my gut."

That non-strategy proved successful as Will scored a total of 196 to win the local $1,000 overall prize.

So what's it like to be the overall local winner?

"I think it’s pretty cool. When I started, I didn’t think I had much of a chance. As the season progressed, I would check the standings and was in the top 5 so I decided to start taking it a little more seriously and pay a little closer attention to all the teams," Will explained.

Will's advice for those new to Gridiron Glory is simple, "Just join and play. What do you have to lose?"

As for his winnings, Will plans to use the money to upgrade some electronics on his boat.
